Even as the pain tries to make me fall to my knees and I look to you, the one person on this miserable planet that is supposed to care and take the pain away…but what do I get met with? Anger and attitude….thanks for not caring again. Ill get through this pain on my own. As its always been.

You know. I have had this page for quite a while now and really havent done a lot with it. Lets face it… I havent done shit with it.

Perhaps this will change. The only issue is how. I follow some great people on here and get inspired often. However the constant battle I am fighting in my life is…demotivating to say the least.

But its time for change…something has got to give. Before I crumble away into nothing but dust and forgotten memories.

Buzz Aldrin took this picture of Neil Armstrong in the cabin after the completion of the first EVA. This is the face of the first man to set foot on the Moon, just hours earlier, on July 20th, 1969.

Neil Armstrong was a quiet self-described nerdy engineer who became a global hero when as a steely-nerved pilot he made “one giant leap for mankind” with a small step on to the moon. The modest man who had people on Earth entranced and awed from almost a quarter million miles away has died. He was 82.

You inspired an entire world. You will always be remembered.

I am very saddened to hear of Ralph’s death, he was a true inspiration to me from my early days of loving Star Wars til this day when I create my own visions of galaxies far far away. You will be missed, but forever will you be remembered for the great joy and inspiration you brought to the infinite imagination of the us all.

Ralph McQuarrie (1929 – 2012)

Legendary conceptual artist and illustrator Ralph McQuarrie has passed away at the age of 82. Ralph was well known for his work on the Star Wars Trilogy. As the production illustrator for Star Wars: A New Hope, McQuarrie conceptualized many of today’s most loved Star Wars characters including, but not limited to, R2-D2, C-3PO, Chewbacca and Darth Vader. Other works that Ralph McQuarrie is known for include the original TV series Battlestar Galactica, Jurassic Park, E.T. and Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark.It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph McQuarrie.

On the official Star Wars website, George Lucas had this to say about his friend Ralph McQuarrie.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of such a visionary artist and such a humble man. Ralph McQuarrie was the first person I hired to help me envision Star Wars. His genial contribution, in the form of unequaled production paintings, propelled and inspired all of the cast and crew of the original Star Wars trilogy. When words could not convey my ideas, I could always point to one of Ralph’s fabulous illustrations and say, ‘Do it like this.’

“Beyond the movies, his artwork has inspired at least two generations of younger artists—all of whom learned through Ralph that movies are designed. Like me, they were thrilled by his keen eye and creative imagination, which always brought concepts to their most ideal plateau. In many ways, he was a generous father to a conceptual art revolution that was born of his artwork, and which seized the imaginations of thousands and propelled them into the film industry. In that way, we will all be benefiting from his oeuvre for generations to come. Beyond that, I will always remember him as a kind and patient, and wonderfully talented, friend and collaborator.”

Well, it is going to be about a man who believes in honor as if it were a religion fighting against a pure evil man who has the power of the gods(Figuratively speaking). It will encompass an entire galaxy of empires and other groups that can be seen as good or bad. As of right now I am unsure if it will be based in Star Wars or in a universe of my own creation. But it is going to be a large science fiction set of books that will hopefully show readers something new. It is based off a long standing character I have used in fan fictions and short stories for over 15 years now. I have just recently decided to go for this as several of my earlier attempts at novels had fallen short before even reaching a publishing stage. I am hopeful for this though. =)
